Chop Break Duo

Chop Break Duo of Alex Nagy, piano, and CJ Waldrop, trumpet, presented their first tour of five concerts across Massachusetts, the Carolinas, and Florida in Summer 2024. They continue to perform around the East Coast, creating performances with something for everybody, and playing the music they love.

Upcoming Performances

Trumpeter CJ Waldrop and pianist Alex Nagy present a concert that explores how trumpet and piano can perform several musical styles. Selections will include a Baroque sonata by Corelli, the rhapsodic violin piece Czardas by Monti, and recent works composed for trumpet and piano. This concert will also feature an exciting original arrangement of villainous music from Disney and Broadway.
